About Us
We are a family owned sweet shop. Our items are hand made the old fashioned way; one at a time with a loving touch.
We occupy a small portion of a
three-story building that was built in 1893 in historic Princeton,
Illinois. The top floor was an old ballroom, still in beautiful
condition and once used by the Masons. The second floor had apartments,
offices and meeting rooms for social clubs. The first floor was a
grocery store, a flower shop, and now is home to our candy shop.
Sweeties is not only famous for their delicious caramels, caramel corn,
toffee and other tasty treats but also their willingness to try to recapture for their customers, the ultimate experience of tasting freshly made candy.
